Spiced Chicken Tikka Delight

Chicken Tikka

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp ground turmeric
  • 1 tsp ground paprika
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp ground chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions:

  1. Marinate the Chicken:
  • In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, paprika, garam masala, chili powder, garlic, ginger, and salt.
  • Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for better flavor.
  1. Prepare for Grilling:
  • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
